You know, if you eliminated the fans of Philly pro sports, Delaware wouldn't be such a sucky state |

1. Dude, the water smells like photographic chemicals even AFTER you filter it. THAT sucks. |

2. Turns out no one actually lives in Delaware |
|
Vice President Biden, for instance, lives in Pennsylvania; only a tiny portion of his porch lies in Delaware, which made him eligible for the Senate seat he held for so many years. :-)

4. Actually, his porch is tollbooth. LynneSin's porch is the other tollbooth. |

6. Hey! Congrats on the new job!! |

When do you start?
Just stay away from Delaware. The tolls will bankrupt you!

I go in for orientation on the 7th and the 8th of July. Then I'll probably go right out on the road.
And nothing against you east coasters, but you won't find me cruising I-95 over that way. I'll be staying in fly over country, basically.

8. I can understand staying away from I-95. What a mess! |
|
Will you still be based out of the Dayton area? I think that is where you said you were from. I grew up in Ada (just east of Lima). I was actually through Ada last weekend!

9. Yeah, I'm from Dayton and I know where Ada is |
|
For a few years there I had a dedicated route going up and down I-75 between Toledo and Dayton. I know exactly where the Ada exit is.
My home terminal will be in Cincinnati and from there I'll likely be running a lot of Texas stuff. Maybe Utah, too. I've got several of options.

11. I could, but it's been for sale for a couple of months now |
|
But I will likely spend my free time here even if I don't own a place here. My family and friends are all here. I don't think I'm going to buy another place. Maybe just stay with relatives when it's time for a little break. For a while there I was trying to settle down and get all domesticated and stuff. It just hasn't worked out for me and I'm not having any fun. :(
So the open road awaits.
