Question about selling books on Amazon.
I just sold a few books on Amazon and am trying to figure out why so many people are selling so cheap. There are lots of hardback and paperback books for sale for a penny. The shipping cost is $3.99. Amazon takes a .99 referral fee, a $1.35 closing fee and 15% of the price (which wouldn't matter with the penny). After paying shipping, there is nearly nothing left. Are people really making money with this??
