Two kittens rescued from trash bin in Milwaukee
:loveya:

MILWAUKEE --

Angela Stoetzel was on a walk with a friend in West Allis last weekend when she heard whimpering noises coming from a nearby garbage can. Inside the trash was a box with two small kittens.

Stoetzel, who works at the Wisconsin Humane Society, took the kittens home and nourished them before taking them to the Humane Society on Sunday.

The kittens, McCartney and Lennon, are between 6 and 7 weeks old and were found in relatively good health.

4. That's like my Claudia kitty.
Our neighbors found her in a box in their front yard.

6. Who does things like this?
I just feel like pounding those jerks who abandon kittens in dumpsters or on lawns or in the country into pate'.

7. It was just a lucky break for Claudia that our neighbor even
mentioned the incident to me. And it was lucky I consented to take her, because I was not looking for a cat.

All the shelters around here are overloaded with cats and kittens. They have waiting lists. I don't know what would have become of Claudia.

5. Our red-earred sliders were rescued from a dumpster...
:(

Three of them.

Was never a fan of reptiles, but sometimes we have reptiles forced upon us.

8. Sheese.
I would have taken the turtles, too. They have as much right to be treated humanely as any other creature.
