Ever been stabbed in the back of your neck? |
|
It hurts.
Over the weekend I developed a super abscess behind my left ear- it ended up being as big around as the palm of my hand. I had to wait until today for it to be ready to be surgically drained. Now, after the anesthetic shot has worn off, comes the REAL pain of having had my neck cut open with a scalpel.
Thank God for hydrocodone.
I'm staying in bed tomorrow- if I can find a comfortable position...

1. I once received a hornet sting precisely in the middle of the back of my neck. |
|
Right on the spine. 'Twas more than thirty-five years ago and I still remember how it hurt. Yowzah.

2. My dear Prisoner_Number_Six! |

Oh, that's gotta hurt like the very dickens!
How about some ice on it? Maybe the cold will help...
I'm so sorry, sweetie...

3. I've been doing ice packs for several days. |
|
They weren't mentioned as post-surgery therapy. (I still have several chillin' in the fridge...)
