Jill Biden to make cameo appearance on Lifetime network's 'Army Wives'

Even though Vice President Biden never served in the military, his spouse will still be able to call herself an Army wife. That’s because Jill Biden will make a cameo on an episode of Lifetime network’s "Army Wives."

Biden will play herself on the episode “Mud, Sweat and Tears” to raise awareness of the contributions that U.S. military men and women have made.

She will visit the show’s Fort Marshall to start the annual Fun Run, where she will meet several military wives. On that episode, several real Army spouses will play themselves.

The episode is scheduled to air Aug. 15.
