So, I was in my teens...few years after my dad died.

I had a friend...he couldn't fight, and he would not defend himself.

He was my best friend then.

We used to go to the A & P. There was this group of guys that hated my friend and would follow us in there and beat the living fuck out of him.

They would punch me up a little and throw me to the ground when I tried to protect him.

They said that they were going to take it easy on me because they knew my dad would kill them (they didn't know my dad was dead).

So my friend's sister dated a guy named Joe who is now spending his life in prison for murder. We told Joe about what was happening.

Joe said..."what's the problem"? "beat the shit out of them"

We said..."But they are tough".

He said doesn't matter...don't take shit....I don't care if they are twice your size. Beat the fucking shit out of them and knock their fucking teeth out and make them bleed so they will never bother you again.

We did that...and it worked.

12. Lefty, we are all sorry at times, and also knowing most of that stuff really doesn't matter.

Things to do, people to see, we all have some stuff that can be better left in the past.

I like the saying in the movie total recall, Quad was asking who he was, and Quato said a person is not there memories, but what they choose to do.

I could tell you stories also, we all have some, that does not mean they define us, no more then if it was someone else. Or thats how I try to see it when I think of some of the more unsavory parts of my past.

And your brash style of posting is entertaining, and humor is a good thing.
