Post Tournament Depression (PTD)?

Are you feeling irritable, sad or empty? You could be suffering from Post Tournament Depression (PTD). After a month-long celebration and a routine involving mostly football, food and sleep, football fans are now left with an empty feeling, a feeling that something is missing in their lives and are struggling to get back to their normal pre-World Cup routine. Symptoms of PTD, which can range from boredom to clinical depression are all dependent on the severity of one’s addiction.

A British survey found that as many as 40 percent of British football fans, are at risk of Post Tournament Depression (PTD). Having to wait more than a month for the new football season to start and until 2014 for the next World Cup...
