Him's the husband. He's out with friends tonight, should be home in half an hour or so.
By then the muffins won't be warm anymore, seems kind of a waste not to enjoy them while they are still warm.
The more I think about this, the more I'm thinking it would be kind of an insult to serve him cold muffins - a sign of disrespect.

you could save him a couple and warm them gently in the microwave. After all, you can't eat all of them without feeling guilty...and bloated.
