3. My mom's cousin had a friend (older lady) who stopped at her usual local gas station |

in the evening, on her way back from San Francisco. This happened in the eighties, and as an older woman she used this local station because it still had full service available. The gas station attendant told her to come into the office because the last time she was there her credit card had something wrong with it. She argued a bit, but finally consented. Once in the office, they told her that a man was crouched down behind the seat in her car, and they had called the police. :scared: She drove a Volvo sedan, but I guess it was before they had the heart-beat sensor!
