Then a crowd formed in the streets below. I think it might have been their last live performance.

Edit: January 30, 1969: The Beatles perform together for the last time, live, on the roof of Apple's London office. Later, film of the event will become part of the documentary Let It Be.

5. Yeah...What A Great Video
Of course, the big song from that little concert was "Get Back" with Billy Preston on keyboard. I love the ending where John says something to the effect: "I hope we passed the audition." This is the best the Beatles ever "looked" IMHO. This would be the last time that they "played" together in front of anyone. Some might remember that U2 imitated the concert themselves by putting on a little session on a rooftop in the LA area.
