Remember how people used to could make silly, obscene, or abusive phone calls

and it just about took an Act of Congress to track them down? Now, of course, it's so easy.

I wonder if it will work that way with the Internet? Nowadays, it's so easy to be snarky on the Internet. You might could get the person's IP (most people couldn't do that), but even if you do, what does that tell the average person?

Maybe one day it'll be like "caller ID" --maybe "poster ID."
