I saw a bumper sticker that left me howling with laughter.
Very simple, very plain, on the back of a late model SUV.

It said:

KENNEDY
JOHNSON

2. A late model SUV with a Kennedy/Johnson bumper sticker?

Last I checked, they're both dead and are not running for office.

4. My dear Xipe Totec...
Actually, I have to confess that that bumper sticker made me sad.

I remember them. I was nearly old enough to vote for them...If Kennedy had lived, I would have.

Don't mean to rain on your parade, sweetie...

5. You're not raining on my parade
And I do miss them, doggone it!

It was just so strange to see these names on the back of an SUV, of all things...

Not what you might call a Demobile.

The back of the SUV was covered in progressive bumper stickers.

It was so incongruous, I just had to laugh.

7. I drive an SUV
with an Obama sticker and an "OMG GOP WTF" sticker.

Not all SUV drivers are conservative wack jobs

Mine is older (2001) and it's paid off :)

6. I considered making one for Roosevelt/Wallace
Once upon a time, that was the mainstream Democratic ticket.

9. My 10 year old Hyundai SUV and I object to this characterization
of ALL SUV's as RW transporters. It's not true!!! The only reason my Santa Fe has no stickers on it is I know it would get keyed, kicked and pissed on if it did.
