I'm not sure what kind of tree he's sitting in (and he is a he; he's been hanging out with me for over a year now) - the leaves look like bamboo in the photo, but it's really a big ol' tree.

12. Those really aren't "dumb" photos they really are excellent

You must have a hell of a lot of patience to wait out the energetic hummingbird. I have only seen perching hummingbirds a few times, mostly they are on the move when I see them...

14. I have lazy hummingbirds

The one in these photos is usually camped out on my Enc Purple Glory, guarding the feeder. In fact, that's where he is in the separate photo. One if the females even sits on me sometimes.
