Remember when car ads had mileage estimates?
Now, they don't even talk about mileage.

With the price of gas at all time highs, when will an auto company bring back mileage as a selling point?

1. Here's a puzzler
My parents have been complaining about my sister using my mom's Lexus to drive around and are constantly accusing her of wasting gas. My dad works for Royal Dutch Shell, and is constantly carping on the rising cost of gas. They own the gas-guzzling Lexus and an equally inefficient Ford Ranger (which I stand to inherit soon). They need to buy my sister and myself each an automobile. So what do they do?

They buy a Toyota 4-Runner.

So they buy a gas-guzzling SUV in this time of record gas highs. So now they have three inefficient cars.

Where's the logic? And Christ, he works for Shell!
