Somebody re-arranged my patio furniture while I was gone |
|
I was gone for about 2 weeks before I got home yesterday. When I went out back I noticed that my patio funiture was switched around. I can't figure out why someone would do that. Nothing was missing.
On one hand, I guess it's a no harm no foul kind of thing. On the other, it makes me think that someone has been scouting my place and knows that I'm gone for long periods of time.

In the obnoxious days of my youth, we used to raid the backyards of neighbors who went on vacation. We'd hang out in their yards, use their pools, etc. We always cleaned up before they got back, so they were none the wiser. At least, we thought they were none the wiser. Maybe they wondered why their patio furniture was moved too. :)
Jeez, I haven't thought about that in 20 years...

3. I hope that's who it is |
|
That wouldn't bother me so much as long as they don't break anything.

I thought it looked much nicer that way.
Sheesh. See if I try to give you a nice welcome back gift.

I could use some new carpet and a new computer desk.

Just leave me a signed blank check next time you'll be gone. I'll be good, I promise.

7. I guess that's possible |
|
But it usually doesn't get windy enough to do that here. My patio is in the corner of the building that is L shaped. It's kind of hard to explain without pictures, but I've lived here for 3 years and was home every day until a few moths ago and it's never gotten windy enough to push the furniture around. Also, I had a shovel and a hoe out there and they were moved, too.

8. Our whole damn deck was emptied once:) |
|
We went on vacation and came back to no deck furniture. The cheap stuff too. What they could possibly do with that is beyond me?
It was probably college students furnishing their dorm. We live right by the UT campus.
Still got a chuckle with the thought of them lugging that crap across the neighborhood:)

9. I'd get one of those fake security cams and install it. |
|
In a prominent spot. Looks like a real security cam. Inexpensive.
