Anyone here ever use a cobbler? |
We took a pair of shoes in and had them resoled. I think it's a dying art. I guess we could have tried it ourselves as well. http://tlc.howstuffworks.com/home/how-to-mend-clothes10.htm

1. Sure, it's a good way to extend the life of the shoes |
Mostly I've used them for boots, which are pretty expensive to replace. They can also repair luggage, backpacks, leather coats, etc.

3. We found a great one - he rebuilt a pair of Mexican cowboy boots I had for 15 years, |
and they are better than new. He is in West Reading, PA and gets boots from as far as California to be repaired. It sure is a dying art...I am certain he does little more than making a living.

of dress shoes, some of my wife's shoes, and even my leather briefcase.
