1. You're keeping it classy |
|
Nothing about liberal versus conservative. Just baseball, and pulling for one's favorite team. Thanks.

This game is going to the wire. If it comes down to bullpens, Giants take it.

45. In defense of Burrell he was key to the World Series win and to getting there |
|
During the season I was at two different games where his home run put the Giants ahead.
They won their division on the last day of the season.
And the other night, he made a terrific catch as he crashed and spun into the wall.
In baseball, you try to put together a group of guys and hope that a few will be "hot" each game.
Everybody is not hot all the time, but Burrell's been part of the mix in the postseason and got hot on offense and defense at key times. He helped us get to that World Series win.

That was a quick turnaround.
I'm not watching the game, but was pleased when you posted the SF home run. Then disappointed when you posted this originally.

But bank on it, it's a different story for the Bay Area broadcasters. First time in over 50 years.

Congrats to the Giants and their fans. I know it's been a long, long time.
Of course, it had been never for our Rangers, so obviously we were hoping for a different outcome. Unfortunately for us, the Giants were the better team this year.
Maybe next season...
