So my obnoxious neighbor... |
|
...who shares a wall (town-home) woke me up at 2:34am last night.
He has not bothered us for quite a while but now he is starting up again. We have tried many techniques including, record keeping, Sheriffs, meetings with City officials and community cop program.
Here is the deal.
This arrogant SOB got way over his head and we don't think he owns his home anymore and is living free of charge.
My plan: Call the Tax Assessor's office tomorrow and find out if he owns it still. If not then call the bank that does and threaten them with a lawsuit unless they kick him out.
Will this work? Will the records show if the bank owns it?
thanks

1. When this happened to me, I moved. I will never live in a shared-wall domicile again, no matter if I |

This will be an ideal rental (in north coastal San Diego County). If we don't sell it.
3 years max to go...we hope depending on if we can find affordable health insurance to retire.
We will never ever buy a shared wall again.

3. What is he doing that's bothering you? |

I mean, it must be pretty bad if you want him kicked out.

shared barrier (in my case it is a fence line on rangeland) arrogant SOB, over his head, no bother for a while and started up this weekend, discussions with local officials
I am not free of blame in the problems between us, but so far every single person I have talked to that has met both of us seems to feel the guy is a real piece of work!
in general out in the boonies you just HAVE to get along with the neighbors, but this guy is crossing lines faster than I can react! MAJOR ASSHOLE
Fortunately our place has been in the family for more than 120 years and that place changes hands every 4 or 5 years so history is weighted in my favor}(
