What's the strangest thing you've ever seen on a bar TV?

No, really. I had wandered into a bar, and didn't know it was a gay bar.

4. Saw a video of some wacko trying to ski down a steep glacier with a parachute behind him

to slow him down. Must have been 25 years ago. He lost control part way down and began a kind of floppy roll, with the skis still strapped on tight. I hated the frickin video: I was sure I'd just watched somebody die for entertain: he actually survived but busted bones plenty

9. LOL! I once saw Gunsmoke in Japanese.

I think you can still find it on The Youtubes. It's funny, but the sensibility fits beautifully.

6. Once, at a respectable, middle class, chain restaurant/bar/dance club

they had hardcore porn playing on the big screen above the dance floor.

7. My boss took a bunch of us to a strip club for his birthday. They had

several semi nude semi young women dancing and a huge flat screen TV with a Phillies game on it.
What was funny was that so many guys were watching the Phillies game.

(The boss's wife later slapped the shit out of him for going to the bar with us.)

8. This wasn't so much strange as funny.

We were in a French Quarter bar back in late summer and a Saints game was on. I frowned and asked if it was preseason already, and the bartender laughed and said "No, but Old Boudreau comes in about this time of evening with a snootfull and this time of year we like to put an old Saints' loss on the VCR and wind him up, telling him the season's started and they're already losing."

(Btw "Boudreau" is generic NO for "Nasrudeen" or "Oly" or any Holy Fool--I subbed the name since I can't recall the real one)
