When I was a kid I was always disappointed if there were cookies with dark spots and they turned out to be oatmeal-raisin, not chocolate chip.
I know a lot of kids feel that way! (Think I'll make some cookies for dessert! :9 )

one of which vanished since then...
I also made ham and string beans for dinner.
Both of my brothers and my brother in law are very good cooks, and when we all lived in this area, our Thanksgivings were something to see!
