1. Trivia question: What is the Refreshments' biggest hit?
Extra credit for the actual title.

2. My first thought is the "King of the Hill" theme, and I don't remember the title
And I was honest, that answer came without my Googling first.

:-)

3. King of the Hill theme is correct!
And extra points for no Googling!

Now, for the title...

4. The Refreshments weren't as angsty, or as college-y as REM.
And they're even better in their latter-day incarnation: Roger Clyne And The Peacemakers.

(Not their most recent group pic, though...)

5. True...not in an overall sense, but in the song I picked, I heard some REM
I pulled out a mix CD earlier today that I put together in October 2002. Turns out the mood I was in was "moody jangle." Here's the CD artwork I made at the time and the complete track list:

I'll have to check out Roger Clyne And The Peacemakers...thanks for the tip.

6. Sounds a bit more like Toad the Wet Sprocket to me
Another jangly, angsty band.

I don't know the Refreshments. I like this sound, though.
