...Circle Star Theater, San Carlos. There was no getting away from their stuff...it was like Mad Magazine. It was there, they were there, some of it was funny, some of it was stupid, and...like Mad...they made truckloads of money.
I like their movies "Cheech & Chong's Next Movie" (especially Paul "Pee We Herman" Rubens' role) and "Things Are Tough All Over." Their other movies, not so much.

Actually it was Chi Chi but that quickly got shortened to Cheech. In the neighborhood I grew up in you have to do something when there are half a dozen guys named Steve.
