There are a jillion different Italian reds, but almost nothing goes better with pasta than lambrusco...

I don't usually like white wines,but the store was fresh out of anything I could deal with, so the default was an Asti spumante. Not a lot of good selection within a five mile radius here, unfortunately. I didn't feel like driving further ;)
