The achy, cold, feverish, light-headed, so-I-don't-really-know-what-I'm-saying-so-am-responsible-for-noneuvit-kinda fluey stuff.
Damn. Came back from a New Year's celebration in New Orleans coughing out my lungs, and now have that hazy, "what am I doing?" feeling. Okay, the medicinal rum and coke I took for it may have an influence on that - and actually, the cough has gotten better with the imbibing yay - still. I know that I will wake up in the morning with one or the other lungs sitting beside me scolding me and my head as filled with s&*t as can be.
Ugh. I hate this stuff. Someone tell me it'll go away soon. Please??

I had it the night after being released from the hospital (because I was healing so well) after surgery. Lasted a few days, flew home with it. Didn't sleep the last two nights I was there (Scottsdale). Headachy, no desire for food (lost weight! Yay!), shivering, temp of 102.
I was advised to take Advil or Tylenol to lower my temp, and drink electrolytes. Get well soon.

if you have someone to make you poached eggs on toast and baked custard, so much the better!
The minute I feel sickness coming on I make a batch of Jell-O cuz it always tastes good when nothing else is appealing.

6. That's the same flu I had about 3 weeks ago. It took about 2 weeks before I |
|
started feeling better. Most helpful to me were Motrin, Musinex, & plenty of bedrest.
It's really going around down here. Hope you get better soon -- take care!

Sacrifices should be made in threes with considerable begging for mercy. Three shots of rum, three cigarettes, three coins, done with the right humility and supplication and it'll be gone in a week to ten days.
