2. Interesting - the new Barbie is still well endowed, but she actually
has a bit of a tummy and more of a butt. Looks like a touch of scoliosis as well.

5. The curve of a woman's back is very sexy to me.
On a reall woman, that is. Not the doll.

6. Yeah, but don't forget about the freakishly large head.
I find it interesting that they scaled her body down, but kept the same head size. Why would they do that?

3. What kind of body was that from the 90s?
It looks like an athletic man with boobs. Or, maybe an Olympic swimmer that had breast implants.

7. 90s Barbie was clearly GI Joe with breasts.
New Barbie does mimic an actual human female more than any previous model, but that was not a real hurdle to clear (see 90s Barbie).

9. Same mold, saves dollars.
I'm reminded of the time some terrorists swapped Barbie and Spider-Man/GI-Joe voice units, to mock the gender line issues of the day...extremely funny. GI Joe whining "Let's go to the mall" and "Math is hard".

11. Does it seem that '90s Barbie is missing something?
Like her head?

12. In bellydance we're taught to keep a neutral pelvis
in the "new" model, her back is arched unnaturally, sticking her pelvis back too far. If this was a real woman, it would be uncomfortable and lead to lower back problems, eventually. But eh, it's a doll, so what the heck.
