Now for the mind fuck. Flo and Eddie wrote songs and music for the Strawberry Shortcake and Care Bears kid shows.

1. Single filthiest hour and half I've ever spent in my life

Boston Music Hall, Zappa/Mothers during the Flo & Eddie reign of terror. All of the filth on the "Fillmore" album, with a couple of additional songs that made THAT album seem TAME.

Like the one about "God's Girlfriend" on the sofa with "The Magic Pig," and if I were to post any of the lyrics here, I'd probably get your thread locked and my ass tombstoned. It was THAT filthy.

And believe it or not, CHUCK BERRY was Frank's opening act that night. The ads in the Boston Globe read "Anything can happen" and it certainly DID.

That sequence, into "Willie The Pimp," is probably my favorite part of the album. Still gives me goosebumps when Frank hits the "Willie" riff.
