What is your theory of Abe Vigoda? |
|
Is he simply gifted with good genes? If that's the case, why did he look like he was pushing seventy THIRTY YEARS AGO?
Maybe he is the product of genetic manipulation and organ replacement...a "guinea pig" for the team that is currently working on Cheney.
I tend to believe that he is a vampire, and that he'll remain undead long after we are all residents of Club Mud.

I think he's just having too much fun in this persona to move on to the next yet.

2. Alternate theory. He has died seven times so far... |

But due to a cosmic statistical anomaly, each time he has reincarnated as his adult self.

5. Perhaps at some point in the future the LHC |
|
runs amok, sucks up the entire universe in a constant stream, and scatters the particles through all of time, creating the entire universe which later creates it while skipping souls like rocks throughout existence, creating reincarnation itself. Abe Vigoda is from that future, and rather than being particalized, was sucked through whole, so he skitters across time in the same form and consciousness as the world itself is constantly reincarnated.
Yeah, i think that must be it.

And of course Barney Miller. Here, this has both Abe, and Steve Landesberg (RIP) in it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9uULn5bZOjk(He does kinda look like a vampire, though)

Either that, or he's just perfectly healthy for his age.

11. The elevator in Republican Stepdad's building has magical restorative properties |

As you may know, Abe has been spotted in the said elevator, on his way up to our floor to see a lady friend.
Mom herself is in her late 60s and, as Imus might say, is "still gettin' it done". R.S. is over 70 and is not averse to knocking around a few golf balls (once the snow melts, of course).
So clearly there's something in the air in that tiny corner of the East 70s. :-)

17. Average life expectancy for a white male born in 1921 is 60 years of age, so yes. |
|
He has bested the average by 29 years.
This was mainly a joking commentary on the fact that he's never exactly appeared youthful since achieving a level of national success as an actor forty years ago.
