3. I've been seeing that a lot - I think it's how they avoid the use of 'Super Bowl' in ads

....since the NFL no longer allows unlicensed use of that term. :eyes:

And it's really not a lot worse than the ubiquitous references to 'The Big Game' in local advertisements, which really just sound forced and lame.

5. GOD the NFL pisses me off! Half of New Orleans is in trouble over "Who Dat".

NFL copyrighted it and wants to fight every little busines that prints a T-Shirt. Fortunately, "Under the table" is the city motto of New Orleans.

8. It's always about money, isn't it, nola? How a corporation could grab that

slogan created by the fans & get a copyright on it so the fans can't use it without paying to do so is beyond me. In today's corporate world, money trumps common decency.

16. I didn't know that we aren't allowed to use Super Bowl....

without paying for the privelege. In that case, this is not a "fail". It is appropriate.

In fact, the more I think about this, the more I like it.
