Lounge challenge: write your own VC Andrews plot!

Here's my effort:

A girl, Tayler, lives in a rundown two-bedroom trailer out in Appalachia with her desperately poor but hardworking parents and her four younger siblings. She wants to be an actress. One day after school she's getting a milkshake with her hunky but disgustingly pervy drama teacher at the local hamburger joint and she meets a fabulously wealthy and hunky young man named Tanner. She starts dating him, and at first he seems like a nice guy but gradually he gets really controlling and possessive. Tayler's mother gets arrested for shoplifting a loaf of bread, and since Tayler's dad can't feed all five kids, Tayler goes and lives in Tanner's back shed behind his mansion until she's discovered by Tanner's parents and domineering grandmother. They tell her that she has to go back to her family, but really she sneaks back to the shed every night. This goes on for months until Tanner discovers that she snuck off to go to drama club, so he rapes her one night in a fit of passion and jealousy.

She's wandering down the street totally freaking out when the grandmother drives by. She gets in the grandmother's Rolls and the grandmother gives her $500 to never see her grandson again. Even though Tanner just violently raped her, Tayler feels gross about taking the money, but she does anyway, and goes back to the trailer.

Four months later she's totally pregnant, but she still feels terrible about accepting the $500, cause she's proud, right? She goes to the mansion, and gets pushed down the stairs by an unseen person. She has a gruesome miscarriage, and while she's in the hospital recovering she meets a hunky young doctor who tells her that she needs a kidney transplant. Tayler's dad offers to donate a kidney, but it turns out he's not really related to her at all! Right after the hunky young doctor tells Tayler that her dad's not her real dad, the doctor gets run over by a bus. Tanner feels really bad about having raped her (cause he's really sensitive deep down), so he offers to donate his kidney, and it turns out he's a match!

Tayler goes back to the mansion to get some answers, and the grandmother tells her that her son (Tanner's dad) and Tayler's mom had had an affair, so Tayler is really Tanner's half sister! It turns out that Tanner's mom had pushed Tayler down the stairs because she hated Tayler because Tayler was her husband's daughter, and she hadn't even known Tayler was pregnant.

Tayler freaks out and runs back to the trailer, where she demands the truth from the man she'd thought was her father. He apologizes for never telling her the truth, and they wind up in bed together, cause they're not really related, right?

A few weeks later, the scary grandmother comes to the door of the trailer, and gives Tayler $10,000 to move to Los Angeles to study acting. She gets on a bus and leaves Appalachia forever.

It has been years since I read a VC Andrews book, but you sure nailed it!

2. I decline your challenge- there's no way I can top that.. No way at all.

Sure, I could toss a few more hints of INCEST in there,
but it wouldn't actually affect the PLOT in any major way.

You posted this as a JOKE, but you could shop it around
to a few "Publishers" and be rolling in $$$ in a year or two.
You know that, right?
