2. I Didn't Have That Problem

Our local power company has 5 fuel-powered generating sites along the Ohio River plus another hydro-electric facility centered in downtown/business Louisville.

I go down much more often than "they" do.

3. I was at a Home Depot/Expo store....

I thought it was just a brownout so I proceeded to go to the supermarket. Whadda mistake. It was open and had power but the cash registers weren't working. There were tons of people in line waiting for the registers to resume. Oddly though, the guards at the entrance were letting people in. But they were warning people that they could be there for hours. I left.

Also, although the news is reporting outages in Newark, I took my mother home to Newark after we tried to shop. We had heard on the radio that power was out in Newark. The lights were on in her neighborhood.
