3. I know how to drive on ice and snow |

What scares me is the idiots that don't. I'm stocked up on coffee, dog food and the other essentials, so I'm not going anywhere.

We had almost 800 accidents last Friday here because they were all idiots. No one seems to have any common sense any more. If conditions are icy, you stay off of any road with longs spans of concrete up in the air, i.e., bridges. Of course, some blame can be lumped on the news for not educating people about these simple concepts.
I got to work with no trouble at all, thanks to staying on the surface roads. Even there, I had to dodge the drivers that seemed to think that the wet road was indeed covered in three inches of ice and driving white-knuckled at 15mph :eyes:

Can't get the car down the driveway The space btw my house and next door is narrow and it all just piled up, shoveling by hand is not a sensible option and would probably get stuck in the street anyway We called a guy who has done some work for us, but he can't get here with the snowblower until later today so I called in "stuck" Did call one of our people in Memphis who I needed to get back to today with info for his client meeting tomorrow, said the weather was headed his way
