Serious computer question |
Back/Forward arrows suddenly don't respond. Everything else works fine.
I'm pretty sure that when I shut down and reboot, it will be fixed. But is there a way to fix it without rebooting?

1. The "v" on my keyboard doesn't work, or it works too well. I have a new keyboard |
but don't want to hook it up because I don't think I have an extra usb port and keyboards these days require usb ports. Grrrrrrrr. There is no way to fix it. I've actually opened up keyboard a few times and tried to fix sticky letters but you always end up buying a new keyboard. Good luck.

2. Probably some keyboardy thing went idle or stopped responding. |
Just reboot. Or, at least in Firefox, right-click inside the browser window and choose "Back" from the drop-down menu.

3. Thanks--that's what I did |
It happens only once in a while when something stops responding. I've tried to find a way to fix it without a reboot, but that seems to be the only thing that works.
