I'm reading BROTHERS KARAMAZOV. I know it's a classic,

which is why I'm posting this here, instead of Books non-fiction, where everybody might be jumping on me. (I KNOW it's a classic.)

My thoughts: I'm about halfway through the book.

Fyodor is a turkey, Dmitri is a turkey, and they both are probably active alcoholics.

Ivan and Alyosha are OK.

Katerina whatever is an idiot; she ought to appreciate Ivan, instead of hanging on to Dmitri.

And many of the characters have diarrhea of the mouth.

Poor Smerdyakov never had a chance.

1. Do NOT go with the flow and try to read "Dr. Zhivago" after this....
Dostoevsky is readable, even enjoyable.

Pasternak is NOT.
