The stuff you get pulled over for rarely has anything to do with the mechanical condition of your car unless you are blowing clouds of half burnt oil or grinding metal against the streets.

But in some cities DWB's are common. If you are black or Hispanic in these cities you'd better put red fix-it tape over the crack in your tail lights and the tint on your windows had better not be too dark.
