"Oh, and by the way, if you see your mom this weekend, would you be sure and tell her..."

1. I can't believe there's no love...

3. Thank you.
Yes, that video is disturbing.

The song was a favorite among my friends when it first cam out.

4. Thanks. I watched it and it was well, interesting.
BUT.

Not as interesting as THIS.

TEAR IT UP.

For the life of me, I can't figure out why they didn't have a wider audience.

6. Hands up: Who's wedding did Nick Knox go to?

Yep.

Long after he left the Cramps (who he didn't speak of highly, BTW), he worked anonymously in Ohio, healing his back and becoming an expert gardener. Snorted most of his fortune, had to go through some hard times. Had a lot of interesting stories about the rock life. He once said "there was a whole catalog of old honky tonk/old obscure R&B songs they'd blatanly steal from".

I think part of the reason why they didn't have a wider audience is because their management were too concerned about getting "ripped off" by middlemen while watching every band that opened for them (Go Gos, B52s, Red Hot Chili Peppers, etc) go on to stardom. It's not like mainstream America would be able to embrace the snarling Ivy or lurching, fellating, jack-it-like-you-mean-it Lux. Far ahead of their time, this band was.
