Maine has our first Playboy Playmate...

http://new.bangordailynews.com/2011/03/17/news/waterville/clinton-woman-to-be-playboy-playmate/

PORTLAND, Maine — A 27-year-old woman will become the first Playboy Playmate from Maine when she’s featured in the centerfold spread in the magazine’s June issue.

Mei-Ling Lam of Clinton told the Portland Press Herald she was unfazed about posing naked for the magazine. Lam said she has often had to strip down and change clothes quickly in rooms full of people while modeling and participating in pageants over the years.

Lam is a graduate of Nokomis High School and was Miss Teen Maine USA in 2001.

7. People actually take off their clothes in Maine? I thought it was too cold in the winter
and had too many mosquitoes in the summer

9. mosquitoes not so bad in the mid-late summer
really bad late spring-mid summer. I've noticed the dragonflies increase in population around here, those and the bats help keep them down. We keep each other warm in the winter months ;-)
