Re: April Fool's pranks -- need advice
Is it better to do one where you get people excited and happy about something, and then dash their hopes, or something that scares or angers them, and then relieves them?

I've never done one, but which type is preferable in case I decide to try?

1. I hate those fake lottery tickets
I always feel so sad for the recipient when they find out they were duped. A friend of mine had that joke played on him, and he didnt speak to the people involved for a long time. He was really, really mad, and he was not someone who became mad easily.

2. IMO both are equally cruel. It's better to rubber band down a sprayer
or something.

5. The best ones are when everyone laughs, including the recipient
Today the staff in my office took advantage of the fact that our supervisor went to the bank. We Saran Wrapped her telephone, keyboard and chair. We covered her monitor with stickies and put scotch tape across the sensor on her mouse. She laughed too when she saw it.

6. somebody once turned on ALL MY TOOLBARS at work.
When I got back from lunch I freaked out.

Love the post it under the mouse trick

Also taping down that thing on the telephone to make it keep ringing (I don't know what they call that thing) so when people pick up the phone it keeps ringing until they see the switch has been taped down. hilarious.
