One size fits all or life in these United States |

I passed on my tenure as buyer for our Senior Association and got a request from the current buyer to let her know where I bought the stirring sticks for coffee. I directed her to Sams Club online because I knew she had a membership. They are 2000 for $2.17 plus tax and free shipping.
I got a call from her in hysterics today as the "shipment arrived". Being it was her first online order she ordered one box. They are about 6 inches cubed. The box that came was about 15 x15 x 12, and of course was full of packing to keep the sticks from moving around and opening up during shipping.
It now costs you $50 a year to be fat in Arizona but you can get stir sticks delivered for under $3.
Who needs April fools day when life here is so odd?

Yeah, it's gross what shippers do. I recently got a couple of shirts from an online vendor. They came packed in a LARGE box with bubble 'pillows'. Don't want the shirts 'broken' in transit. They could have been mailed in a large manila envelope. :eyes:
