Just remember folks (windows)
If a screen pops up and says "Message from website: You computer is at risk! We've detected spyware and viruses! Click OK to proceed with the We'reTryingToInstallMalwareOnYourComputer PC Scan!.....DO NOT CLICK OK, DO NOT CLICK CANCEL, DO NOT CLICK THE X.

Press Ctrl-Alt-Del and END the Internet Explorer process. And you'll find many of them...END PROCESS on all of them!

Just a friendly reminder. Please don't click on the X at the upper right corner of the screen.

8. Well then we'd better not tell him that King Assahola's main perk is actually
cucumbers.

10. Don't knock cucumbers until you've tried them
Of course sometimes for variety I use a zucchini.

9. Thank you, ReggieV. I did fall for it a couple of months ago when a window popped up while
clicking on a google image. It really looked official, with other windows popping up one right after another. Foolishly, I forgot that I should have run my McAffee scanner, but the situation was so weird & malicious-looking, all I could think of to do was re-do my computer. I lost a lot of good stuff.

11. I got that malware on my work laptop.

All those ALERTS were ALARMING!

Shut my tablet down for a whole day!
It hid functions so that the IT guys
couldn't leap in and control my screen
and I actually had to drive into and
spend ALL MORNING at the "office", where
I could get plugged into the company
network and have it cleared out.

The IT guy told me the malware's entire
function was to get you to enter a credit
card and buy the "fix".

13. Yeah, that thing is evil.
I got it as well, it locked everything up. Only a hard shutdown and a system restore saved my poor lil' computer.

Now we get the best of both headaches! :P
