1. "Lover"
For Rodgers+Hart fans - Peggy Lee's version of "Lover" (the one on Decca), is by far the best. :) :) :)

12. And she made it sound so easy!...
But that kind of smooth line is real art. I love her.

6. Very sexy

Looks like she was in her 40s or so in that video but the voice is still (to me) a "come hither" voice. :-)

OT about your username: Was reading a website from Ecuador tonight. The article mentioned that being a witch was hard work. That a witch has to train every day to be an independent woman in the eternal struggle against domination by man.

No special reason to mention this, it was just a coincidence that saw your username.

Now am off to bed with "Fever" ringing in my head !! Good night.

13. Love that one.
Definitely one of the most unique songs ever (Leiber and Stoller, orchestrated by young Randy Newman).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Is_That_All_There_Is%3F

"The song was inspired by the 1896 story Disillusionment (Enttäuschung) by Thomas Mann... Most of the words used in the song's chorus are taken verbatim from the narrator's words in Mann's story."

"If that's all there is, my friends,
then let's keep dancing - -
- - Let's break out the booze and have a ball
if that's all there is."

:)
