Wild looking tulips
My wife planted these last fall and I noticed them in full bloom when I stepped outside this morning. I've never seen anything like them :o

1. In a similar vein...
my mom always had geraniums but they never looked like these "Regal Geraniums." I bought a couple because 1) I liked 'em and 2) it's a way to keep Mom's tradition going.

3. They are wild. If tulips can be wild, those certainly are
My tulips have yet to open, but since this seems to be a flower thread, I will show roses from last year. These were bred to honor the rescue workers who went to help 9/11.

6. Oh, beautiful!!
I love bulbs, and the hyacinths are starting to come up around here. I think what you have are parrot tulips. Not sure, but if I remember right, the splashy pattern is a mutation. All mutations should be so lovely!

8. I love tulips. I'm from Ottawa and we have a tulip festival here every spring.
