I don't care what Orrex says,
I liked Avatar. And with revenues of over $2.7B worldwide I don't think I'm alone.

There I said it, TZ.

1. I liked it too - updated "Dances With Wolves" sort of thing, but great graphics.

2. There's another possibility.
You AND Orrex could both be wrong.

3. True
I'm sure we have both been wrong in the past. However who has been wrong more often, I can't say.

But I feel safe saying that a majority of people who saw the movie did not demand a ticket refund.

4. I didn't demand a ticket refund.
But that's largely due to the fact that I waited until it was out on video so I could rent it. :P

5. LOL.
You know, I have yet to see this movie in its entirety. I saw the last 30 minutes or so on HBO last week while I was in AZ. I'm sure I missed out by not seeing it in the theatre though.
I can't wait to hear what that the bigest James Cameron "fan" in Orrex has to say though...

6. I've DVR'ed it twice. It just sits there taking up space.
Still haven't watched it. Isn't it like 5 hours long?

7. 2 hours, 45 minutes
Worth it, IMHO.

9. I knew it was long!
I just can't make myself press the start button. But perhaps I will. It's still on the DVR ...

Thanks!

10. Well, since IMAX tickets cost $1000 a piece, that's really only 2.7 million people who saw the movie
And big box office returns are no guarantee that a movie isn't crap, after all. Look at Titanic, for example. Who's the hack who directed that 20-hour long shit-barge?

11. I've watched it a dozen times and will watch it a dozen more.
The new technology is amazing. I have yet to catch anything that doesn't look completely real.
