Poll question: This is tough - Which Band had the better earlier issues? The Rolling Stones or The Beatles
Now I was fricken raised by the Beatles. Not in real life, but my parents, as conservative as they were, made an exception for The Beatles. Remember, this is the Seventies, and my dad was a bay area cop.

Anyway - I really don't know which one's better

The Beatles had those balls to the wall songs like3 "I'm Down" and "Roll Over Beethoven"

But at the same time, The Stones were doing this as well, and did some tunes that the Beatles would never have done

I am thinking "Everybody Needs Somebody" and their version of "Route 66"

So which band had the better earlier catalog (including their covers)

The Beatles

Or

The Rolling Stones

1. I should probably abstain
My older sister played their music pretty much 16 hours a day so if I never hear another damned Beatles song...

2. It seems like EVERY time I'm bored and without real outside stimulation...
.
.
.
...I hear (and feel compelled to sing) "Her Majesty" -- all 24 seconds of it.
.
I sing it a LOT... out loud.
.
I DO add a cool (IMneverHO) hiccup and "ungh" after the "bottle of wine".
.
.
.
It's probably become my favorite Beatles song -- perhaps because it's so darn
compact yet so broad in scope.
.
.
.
If you're gonna have an earworm... there may be no better band (I could stop
right there)... there may be no better band to get an earworm from.
