Loungers, do me a favor. Take about 30 seconds to check this link at the Clinton Foundation
Just go to this link on the Clinton Foundation's website ==> https://careers-clintonfoundation.icims.com/jobs/intro

It's their job listings page. Then click on the link that says "view all open job positions" and see if there is a "job" in your area. That's all.

I found a listing there for a "volunteer" job in Houston. I'm wondering if that gets listed for whichever city you view it from.

4. Thanks. I thought it might be a progam that autogenerates volunteer job listings by browser's city
Who on earth would apply for a job as a volunteer?

5. It's a thing with Foundations
You hang around, do good work, and ultimately you get a crack at meaningful jobs when they open up.

6. "for whichever city you view it from" ????? HUH????
Please tell me you don't think that website is showing listings based on what state you are connected to the Internet in.

7. Because you said "please"...
I won't tell you.

Naw, seriously, I think it pays to be suspicious about the internet. I'm in Houston and it seemed like too much of a coinkydink that the one "job" position they had asking people to apply to be volunteers just happened to be located in my town. Besides, you have to admit there's something clever about listing a local "volunteer" job available to everyone who happens to look at their help wanted page.

Would it be unethical? I dunno; it might be seen as a harmless way to let people know they're interested in finding volunteers in every community in the country. If you look at the site you see Clinton's Foundation has work its doing in a large number of diverse social service fields. Or it might be seen as a shallow manipulation of the well meaning online supporter.

Anyway, I didn't exactly assume the worst. I merely suspected it and got some online acquaintances to double check it for me. Do you really think that makes me a bad person?
