5. Yeah. I remind myself how tough quitting was and how I never want to go through it again.
That and the fact my friends would never cut me as much slack again as they did the first time.

15. it's not that I feel they have a hold on me
for the most part I don't think about them - but every once in a while - say, when I catch a whiff of second hand smoke - I just think, damn, I'd like one :D

10. Every time you hit a milestone, double it for your next goal.
You've almost done a week so now shoot for 2 weeks.

12. It's been about 13, I guess, and I still miss it. We smoke a pipe, but it's not the same.
Not that kind of pipe.

13. Been about 11 years
I was never a heavy smoker, but just this morning had some congestion the reminded me. Ugh. Glad to have developed other, less cancer-inducing vices.

14. I'm up to 7 years smoke free and I'm so over smoking...
We broke up seven years ago and I'm not looking back...
I guess I'm just not as into smoking as it was into me.

18. Smoke, Smoke, Smoke, that cigarette...
Smoke, Smoke, Smoke, until you smoke yourself to death.
You tell St. Peter at the golden gate, that he's just gonna have to wait.
You just GOTTA have another cigarette.

23. Congrats...
don't give in. It's been 7 months for me. I really haven't wanted a cig since I quit in Sept. except on Friday after I cut the grass, for some reason I REALLY wanted one. Only lasted a few minutes, but weird just the same.

Can't wait till I'm nine years not smoking, imagine how much healthier your lungs are!
