I work in politics. Currently I am behind the scenes but I'm willing to put my name on the ballot one day. That day, however is not anytime soon as I do not feel I am ready yet. I also can't win in my state with my current car (plates are a different state-- the car is in my dad's name).

I think the statute of limitations has run out on the other stuff. Any one of those could and would be used against me. And did I mention I hate being around people, hate crowds, hate public events and get bored by meetings.

When I worked as a newspaper reporter, I had to sit through so many long pissy boring public meetings -- city council, planning board, school board, zoning board -- that I would absolutely SCREAM if I were elected and had to endure more of them.

I can't even handle committee meetings at my UU church, let alone the annual congregation meeting.

In other words, I've developed a chronic case of work-related Meetingitis. Does that make me eligible for Disability?
