Anybody here in the real estate business?
I'm thinking of moving to Indianapolis from Terre Haute. I have a two-bedroom, one-bath condo in TH that I own outright. I have recently renovated and repaired the bathroom, and have also had a great deal of work done in kitchen (replacing sink, painting, tiling). I have also had osme painting done. I still want to put vertical blinds in both bedrooms, and complete painting. I also want to put in new flooring in the front area and in the kitchen. I also want to put in new carpeting. Since it will probably be a while before I move, I wonder if the rest of the renovations would be worth it anyway. What kind of renovations are really worth doing if you're trying to make a condo attractive to prospective buyers? I know that bathrooms and kitchens are the biggies, but what else do they look for? The neighborhood is a pretty nice one, with homes built mostly in the fifties and sixties.
