The well to do call the "lower-classes" pigs, trailer trash, etc. I'm getting sick of your "superiority". What makes you think you deserve better than the lower-classes? You come no farther in your brain use than the deep brain reptilian part. You comport your selves like animals. In fact some animals treat their specie better than you treat yours. That says something pathetic about your "superiority".

1. It is an interesting topic. |
|
It could be the superiority complex does not create the ability to steal, but after stealing, they need the superiority complex to justify it.
If you are rich, and others are suffering, saying you deserve it for being a smarter, or blessed, or anything else, solves the guilt that thinking and feeling would cause on that disparity of wealth.
Many wealthy people spend much time and resources to help many people, knowing they did not earn it, and are not superior, but may just have a different talent that can be used to help society.

2. Superiority or inferiority are two sides of the same deception and wrought of fear. Pointless. |

3. Well, I am highly offended by the term "trailer trash." |
|
I live in a mobile home and I am much better off than those who all call us mobile home residents "trailer trash." I own my home; my car is paid for; I have no bills other than the usual utilities, insurance, etc. And I can buy what I want when I want it for cash, as I do not have credit cards.

5. I heard a thing in our town that left me kind of 'shell-shocked.' |
|
The local city meeting was discussing whether someone could make part of their home into an apartment. The protests from the public in the neighbor hood included the concern that they do not want any rentors living in their neighborhood.
I have never been and will never be a home-owner, so imagine how I feel knowing the people in my own community live in this 'caste system' wanting to separate themselves from the -- the what? The 'have-nots?' -- inside their own head.
I do not feel sad or sorry or ashamed I do not have more than I do. I do not want to be anywheres' near people who will look down their noses at me because they own property and I don't. I don't know who these people were; I wasn't at the meeting but read some of these comments were what were given to the city in writing. I don't know if they stood up in person showing to everyone who they were and speaking up about this, or if they sent their comments in knowing the 'general public' would never know who sent in those comments.
I have lived in trailers before, too, which I didn't even own.
Things are changing on this planet and people are not going to be able to get away with insulating themselves from the world around them. Who is going to be the next person who has it all and loses everything, and perhaps even needs to ask for a helping hand?
