Am I the only male who does this? |
|
I like to stay home during the day, download an incredibly sad movie - one that I know will make me cry - and watch it. Usually with a beer or two. The part I want to get is the crying point. Endorphins flow at that point, and I feel so much better.
Or am I a freak?

Who stops at "a beer or two" over the course of a whole movie?

5. I apologize - I foolishly assumed you were using the bullshit socially-constructed |
|
definition of "two" (i.e., a pair of things) rather than the correct and historically accurate male-approved version (i.e., a couple more than a lot)... :)

|
Edited on Fri Apr-29-11 09:17 PM by pitohui
females don't have time to sit home, download crap movies and get drunk, this is a male activity around here
you're not a freak, you're just doing what guys do, unless all males are a freak there's a billion dollar movie industry and i don't see any women sitting home all day watching movies, so it almost has to be the males...
haven't you ever noticed, every guy who lives in his mom's basement criticizing sf comic books and movies all day is a guy...don't be that guy...
most gals don't even know how to download movies or at least the gals in my circle don't, we're too busy for that

|
We're not supposed to admit to that. Did you lose your copy of "The Man Book" given to all of us in the secret ceremony we are forced to participate in at the onset of puberty?

You see, watching the movie is just an excuse for consuming large quantities of beer. What's more male than that?

I manage to do it without the beer, but I'm a woman and that's in the handbook.

21. Happy people are slightly delusional. Sad people see reality more clearly. Good |
|
to be sad if you are going through a rough time so that you can come to a new reality and accept a loss. Crying is brilliant in fact. Good for you.
