3. A GREAT Tucson self-proclaimed "Cajun brass band that I've thought defunct for...
.
.
.
...almost 10 years -- but apparently they did some local performances
last year -- Crawdaddy-O.
.
A FUN band -- they did an interview at our local community radio
station by marching in while playing from the street outside.
.
They did an EXCELLENT cover of Blue Oyster Cult's "Godzilla" that I can't
find anywhere online (wish I could).
.
Not a tuba -- but a Sousaphone.

6. PLATE O' SHRIMP!!!!!!
.
.
.
From "Repo Man":
.
Miller: A lot o' people don't realize what's really going on. They view life
as a bunch o' unconnected incidents 'n things. They don't realize that
there's this, like, lattice o' coincidence that lays on top o' everything.
Give you an example; show you what I mean: suppose you're thinkin'
about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp,
or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin'
for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
.
Otto: You eat a lot of acid, Miller, back in the hippie days?

7. Back in the 70's -- PROBABLY 80's there was a young comedienne...
.
.
.
...whose prop was a tuba. Very, VERY funny -- but virtually all
of her bits revolved around the tuba. She disappeared very quickly.
.
.
At the end of her set, she would be all out-of-breath and breathing
heavily -- and she would remind people about all the vibrations, ahem...
in her LAP due to her instrument.
.
.
I would LOVE to see that again. I remember laughing a lot, but was
unsurprised that she seemed to be kind of a one-trick pony.

8. She 'played' the tuba? how cool is that?
Wish I could catch her act. I don't play the tuba, but I think it is a fascinating instrument and it has certainly taught me a lot about singing.

Do you remember her name?

9. This isn't her -- she disappeared after a brief surge of exposure.
.
.
.
...But the first minute of this video is tuba-related.
